Slot hands; Aura strong abjuration and evocation; CL 20th; Weight 2 lbs.
Forged long ago by a fire giant shaman, this pair of huge metal gloves appear like mundane iron gauntlets to the casual viewer. However, the truly astute realize otherwise. The iron gauntlets of the raging flame are masterly forged from blackened cold iron, trimmed in bronze, with a single flame engraved on the back of the palms. A set of three-inch blades are mounted to the hand plates of the gauntlets, allowing them to function as +4 flaming cold iron bladed gauntlets. While these gauntlets appear far too large for any but those of giant kind to wear, their enchanment allows them to shrink to fit the size of the wearer.
Aura of Heat: The wearer is surrounded by an aura of intense heat. All creatures within 5 feet take 1d6 points of fire damage at the
beginning of the wearer’s turn. If the wearer has 10 or more Hit Dice, the aura extends to 10 feet and the damage increases to 2d6.
Giant Strength: When worn, the gauntlets function as a +4 belt of giant strength and grants the wearer complete immunity to all forms of
magical and nonmagical fire.
