Foe Harrier (Ranger/Inquisitor)

(Original Concept by Elghinn Lightbringer)

Primary: Ranger.

Secondary: Inquisitor.

Alignment: A foe harrier’s alignment must be within one step of his deity’s, along either the law/chaos axis or the good/evil axis.

Hit Dice: d10.

Bonus Skills and Ranks: The foe harrier selects three inquisitor skills to add to his class skills in addition to the normal oracle class skills. The foe harrier gains a number of ranks at each level equal to 4 + Int modifier.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The foe harrier is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, light armor, medium armor, and with shields (except tower shields).

Monster Lore (Ex): At 1st level, the foe harrier gains the inquisitor’s monster lore ability. This ability replaces the ranger’s wild empathy ability.

Cunning Initiative (Ex): At 2nd level, the foe harrier gains the inquisitor’s cunning initiative ability. This ability replaces the ranger’s 1st favored terrain.

Teamwork Feats: At 2nd level, the foe harrier gains the inquisitor’s teamwork feat ability. This ability and solo tactics replace the ranger’s combat style feats.

Solo Tactics (Ex): At 3rd level, the foe harrier gains the inquisitor’s solo tactics ability.

Hunter’s Bond (Su): The foe harrier must choose to bond with his companions. In addition, he can spend a move action to grant half his bonus from a single teamwork feat to all allies within 30 feet who can see or hear him, even if they do not possess the teamwork feat themselves. This bonus lasts for a number of rounds equal to the foe harrier’s Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). This bonus does not stack with any teamwork feat bonuses if his allies possess that bonus feat; they use whichever bonus is higher.

Spellcasting: A foe harrier casts divine spells drawn from the inquisitor and ranger spell lists. Only inquisitor spells of 4th level and lower and ranger spells are considered to be part of the foe hunter’s spell list. If a spell appears on both the inquisitor and ranger spell lists, the foe hunter uses the lower of the two spell levels listed for the spell. A foe hunter otherwise prepares and casts spells as a ranger of his foe harrier level.

Bane (Su): At 8th level, the foe harrier gains the inquisitor’s bane ability. This ability replaces the ranger’s 2nd favored terrain.

Greater Bane (Su): At 13th level, the foe harrier gains the inquisitor’s greater bane ability. This ability replaces the ranger’s 3rd favored terrain.

Exploit Weakness (Ex): At 18th level, the foe harrier gains the inquisitor’s exploit weakness ability. This ability replaces the ranger’s 4th favored terrain.
