If you choose to enhance a normal quarterstaff, the weapon gains a +1 enhancement bonus and deals an additional +1d6 force damage on a successful attack. You cannot enhance a magical quarterstaff with this spell.
Special Any summoned creatures struck by the staff have the duration of their summoning reduced by one round. This effect is cumulative for each successful attack that is made.
