Swiftblade Slicer (Quickling, Rogue Archetype)

Quicklings are lightning fast at all they do. Their tremendous speed and precision makes them extremely deadly with small blades, allowing them to cut their foes before they even realize it has happened. Class FeaturesThe swiftblade slicer has the following class features.Focused Target (Ex)

At 1st level, a swiftblade slicer can use her keen mind to focus on an opponent she can see as a move action. The swiftblade slicer uses her swiftblade slicer level as her base attack bonus with attacks made against that target with a weapon from the fighter’s light blade weapons group, and the DCs of swiftblade slicer class abilities against that opponent increase by 1. This effect lasts for a number of rounds equal to her Intelligence modifier (minimum 1) or until she deals sneak attack damage against the target, whichever comes first. If a swiftblade slicer deals sneak attack damage to a target prior to using her focused target ability, she can focus on that target as an immediate action, allowing her to apply her focused target bonuses against that target (including to the normal weapon damage roll).A swiftblade slicer can only have one focused target at a time, and once a creature has become the target of a swiftblade slicer’s focused target, he cannot become the target of the same swiftblade slicer's focused target again for 24 hours.

At 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th levels, the bonus to swiftblade slicer ability DCs against a focused target increase by 1. The swiftblade slicer may discard this connection to a focused target as a free action, allowing her to focus on another target in its place.

At 7th level, a swiftblade slicer can focus an opponent as a move or swift action. This ability replaces trapfinding.

Quick Cuts (Ex)

Starting at 2nd level, a swiftblade slicer can use her supernatural speed to make a series of attacks against her focused target as a full-attack action. She may make one additional attack against her focused target, taking a –2 penalty on all of her attack rolls, as if using the Two-Weapon Fighting feat. These attacks can be any combination of weapons from the light blades fighter weapon group. She does not need to use two different weapons to use this ability.

At 8th level, the swiftblade slicer can make two additional attacks when he uses quick cuts, as if using Improved Two-Weapon Fighting (even if the swiftblade slicer does not meet the prerequisites for the feat).

At 15th level, the swiftblade slicer can make three additional attacks using quick cuts, as if using Greater Two-Weapon Fighting (even if the swiftblade slicer does not meet the prerequisites for the feat).

A swiftblade slicer applies her full Strength bonus to her damage rolls for all successful attacks made with quick cuts, whether the attacks are made with an off-hand or with a weapon wielded in both hands. A swiftblade slicer may substitute disarm, sunder, and trip combat maneuvers for attacks made with a light weapon as part of quick cuts. A swiftblade slicer cannot use any weapon other than light blades as part of her quick cuts attacks. A swiftblade slicer with natural weapons cannot use such weapons as part of quick cuts, nor can she make natural attacks in addition to her quick cuts. This ability replaces sneak attack 2d6, 5d6, and 8d6.

Blade Sense (Ex)

At 3rd level, a swiftblade slicer is so skilled in combat involving light blades that she gains a +1 dodge bonus to AC against attacks made against her with light blades. This bonus increases by +1 for every three levels, to a maximum of +6 at 18th level. This ability replaces trap sense.

Deep Wounds (Ex)

Starting at 4th level, a swiftblade slicer can inflict deep wounds against her focused target. Whenever a swiftblade slicer makes a successful attack against the target of his focused strike, he deals 1d4 points of bleed damage for 1 round. This bleed damage increases by one damage die every four levels beyond 4th (1d6, 1d8, 1d10, and 2d6). This damage also applies to her sneak attacks made with light blades against a focused target. This ability replaces rogue talents gained at 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, and 20th level.

Uncanny Dodge (Ex)

The swiftblade slicer gains uncanny dodge at 5th level.

Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex)

The swiftblade slicer gains uncanny dodge at 11th level.
