DESCRIPTION
You are surrounded by a cloud of thin fog in a 30-ft.-radius that induces a hallucinogenic reality in the mind of those within it. Any creature that enters the fog must make a Will saving throw (DC 10 + 1/2 your vicar level + your Wisdom modifier). If the creature fails the save, surfaces seem to swim, movement constantly distracts the eye, and they take a –10 penalty on Will saving throws, caster level checks, Intelligence-based skill checks, and Wisdom-based skill checks. Affected creatures take the penalty as long as they remain in the fog and for 2d6 rounds thereafter.
Regardless of whether a creature has made its initial Will saving throw or not, it is immediately subject to a phantasmal killer spell upon leaving the fog (successful save) or once the hallucinogenic effects of the spell has ended (failed save). Creatures receive a –4 penalty when making this save. Should a creature reenter the fog, the process begins again.
The fog is thin and does not significantly hamper vision, but it does grant you concealment (20% miss chance). At the time of casting, you can designate a number of allies equal to your Wisdom modifier who are unaffected by the fog.
