Extra Evolution

Prerequisites: Animal companion class feature.

Benefit: The alchemist’s animal companion gains 1 evolution point as if the alchemist selected the Extra Evolution feat, even if he doesn’t have the prerequisites. The animal companion can assign this point to any evolution available to a summoner’s eidolon. Once assigned, the choice is set. The companion must conform to any limitations of the evolution. For instance, only companions with wings can take the wing buffet evolution. If the alchemist gains a new companion, his old companion loses all evolutions, and the new companion gains those evolution points and can expend them immediately in new evolutions. This discovery can be taken more than once, but no more than once for every 5 levels the alchemist possesses.
