Disciplined Mind School

The disciplined mind school focuses on channeling arcane energy in order to enter deep, meditative states of consciousness, while learning to manipulate the power of mind over body. The focused mind school complements the mysterious sage multiclass archetype.

Associated School: Transmutation.

Replacement Powers: The following school powers replace the physical enhancement and change shape powers of the transmutation school.

Meditative Trance (Ex): You can enter a deep trance for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 your level + your Intelligence modifier. While in this trance, you add your Intelligence modifier to your Armor Class, and do not provoke attacks of opportunity while casting spells. In addition, you may also exit this meditative state any time prior to the end of its duration as a free action. Doing so increases the DC of a spell you have cast in the same round by 2. At 10th level, your meditative trance can be maintained for 4 rounds + your level.

Mystic Form (Ex): At 8th level, you can spend a full–round action by focusing your inner energies to become incorporeal (see the incorporeal special quality), transforming yourself into pure arcane energy. While in this state of being, any spell that you cast affects incorporeal and corporeal creatures alike. You can assume this mystic form for a number of minutes per day equal to your level. These minutes do not need to be consecutive.
