Lionels
Lionels stand between 6 to 6 1/2 feet tall, and weigh around 200-225 pounds. They appear like bipedal lions, with tawny fur, green or yellow cat eyes, and slightly rounded pointed ears. Females tend to be smaller and lack the dark brown mane of the males, though both are just as capable in battle. Lionels are the most noble of the the greater catfolk and therefore tend to be the more lawful of the subraces. They prefer the more honorable and cause driven classes, like the bard, cavalier, inquisitor, paladin, and warpriest.
Lionel Racial Traits (Advanced 19 RP)
Lionels gain the following racial traits, in addition to the normal catfolk racial traits, and may change the normal catfolk traits.
Ability Scores: Lionels are noble and have a powerful sense of self. They gain +4 Charisma, +2 Strength, +2 Dexterity. This replaces the normal catfolk ability scores. (4 RP; flexible x2)
Claws: Greater catfolk gain 2 claw attacks that deal 1d4 points of damage and add 1-1/2 their Strength modifier to damage rolls. If a greater catfolk takes the cat’s claws catfolk alternate trait, the claw damage increases to 1d6. (2 RP)
Fearless: Lionels gain a +2 racial bonus on all saving throws against fear effects. This bonus stacks with the bonus granted by the lucky (greater or lesser) racial trait. (1 RP)
Honorable: When lionels successfully use Diplomacy to win over an individual, that creature takes a –2 penalty on attempts to resist any of the member's Charisma-based skills for the next 24 hours. (1 RP)
Plains Stride: Lionels can move through natural difficult terrain at their normal speed while within the plains terrain. Magically altered terrain affects them normally. (1 RP)
Weapon Familiarity: Lionels are proficient with the longsword and the flail. (1 RP)
