Greater horses are larger and heartier than even heavy horse, and are specifically bred for war. Like a heavy horse, a greater horse gains the Advanced Simple Template (already applied here). In addition, it also gains a bite attack that inflicts 1d6 damage, and its hoof damage increases to 1d8. As with a heavy horse, a greater horse can be specifically trained for combat with the Handle Animal skill. Greater horses are often sought after by warriors and cavalry due to their tremendous strength and combat prowess.

Greater horses stand 6 to 6-1/2 feet tall at the shoulder and weigh between 1,500 and 1,850 pounds.
